HOW MUCH YOU KNOW THE FOOD YOU TAKE IN , THE AMOUNT OF SUGAR IS IN IT ?
In this generation where there is many variety in foods , the indian generation is more focusedon to take less sugar in their foods items . But they forgets that taking directly sugar not only harms our health but also many food of which we not know the amount of sugar present in , also harms our health.
So lets know some food stuff and the amount of sugar present in it . These food stuff we really sometimes ignore the amount of sugar present in them .
{1 teaspoon = 4gm of sugar }
1. POPCORN - In the popcornthere is 18gm of sugar present in it (in a packet).It means 4.5 teaspoon.
2. KETCHUP - In the ketchup which we mostly have in the breakfast with bread or ther food item , contain 8gm of sugar in two tablespoon of ketchup . It means 2 teaspoon of sugar you eat .
3. CANNED SOUP - The proportion of sugar in canned soup is upto 10%-15% amount of soup you take .
WHY SHOULD WE AVOID WHITE SUGAR ?
The human body does'nt need white sugar . It requires natural sugar from fruits and vegetable . Which are converted into the energy . Taking too much sugar of any kind and you risk to imbalance in blood sugar and insulin level .
WHY NATURALLY OCCURING SUGAR ARE BETTER ?
ANS:-Naturally occuring sugar are better because they occur in healthy food and also because body know exactly what to do with them .
1. fruits - furits have sugar but they contain fructose , a monosaccharide or single molecule sugar type that is easiest kin d of sugar to breakdown and convert into energy .
2. Sweet potatoes , rice ,honey - contain starch which is converted into disoccharide in the body and finally to glucose . They are healthy sugar source as they not cause spike in insulin level .
3. Carrot , radishes and yam :- These contain a type of starch that is converted into glucose . They also have high fibres contant and so are nutritious choices .
CONCLUSION :- So maintain your health by making limit of sugar and with full imformation in food items .
